Who is Frank?
I was born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, and Georgia is a land and countryside that is as much water as it is land. Georgia has hundreds upon hundreds of lakes, ponds creeks and rivers throughout the coast, plains, hills and mountains. And it is this wildly varying landscape that offers some of the most diverse fishing in America. It was an amazing place to grow up as a a fisherman. There was a swamp and a creek in the backyard, and small lakes all around my house in the burbs. Even better, there was a Trout tailwater, the Chattahoochee, that offered amazing wilderness adventure within ten minutes of home.
Not content with all of those nearby fisheries, I covertly stocked the family swimming pool with Bass during the winter. This allowed me to fish for them every day. Those Bass got really smart and taught me a great deal about fishing for pressured fish.
After graduating from the University of Georgia in Athens Ga, with Journalism degree., I left Georgia and moved West to Telluride Colorado to pursue a career in fishing, and I have been there ever since.
Along the way, I have continously been in the fishing business.
Now, some years later, I guide comprehensively in the Telluride region, I produce and host fishing films and shows, I consult with travelling Anglers and work with fishing manufacturers. When time allows, i compete in the occasional fishing tournament.
